How do we begin to heal our lives in a culture that does not revere the feminine? Our history is witness to the banishment and wounding of the Feminine, impacting our psyches and our ability to heal. Healing involves deep inner soul work; the work of connecting with our inner (shadow) feminine, source of  nurturing and compassion in both men and women. In light of current and upcoming events which affect women in Ireland I will talk about  the collective shadow that has been cast upon both women and the feminine in our history. I will look at how the archetype of the Wounded Feminine has impacted us personally and collectively in our lives and our ability to love.
