All of us who work in a palliative setting, or care for a person at the end of life, already practice self-care in one way or another. However, sometimes even having good regenerative activities outside of the caring environment is not enough. A day comes when we realise that neither a weekend nor a holiday restores our energy; when we notice that we are no longer looking forward to going in, in the morning, and that the sense of satisfaction that we used to have is diminishing. A light goes on and we realise that we are burnt out.

If you recognise some, or all, of yourself in this description, we invite you to join us for this one-day retreat to experience the nurturing triad of mindfulness, self-compassion, and nature connection. These practices open the heart, cultivate inner strength and happiness, while deepening our longing to do all we can to relieve the suffering of others.

€95 early bird price for first 65 places; thereafter regular price €120
