Competition: Tim Parks at Dublin Writers Festival 2012

In his bestselling book Teach Us to Sit Still, Tim Parks explores the connections between mind and body. After chronic pain led him to discover Vipassana meditation and question his scepticism,  Parks found himself on an unexpected journey which forced him to redefine his own sense of self.

As part of the Dublin Writer’s Festival, Tim Parks will talk on his work, and the relationship between writing, identity, and well-being. We have two tickets up for grabs for this event, which takes place on Saturday 9th June at 4pm – this is bound to be a popular event so please make sure you are available to attend before entering.

For more information on the Festival see www.dublinwritersfestival.com where you can book tickets to this, as well as other great events including talks with Richard Dawkins, Alain de Botton, and Mike Scott.

To be in with a chance to win two tickets to this event, simply 'like' this page (if you haven't already), and email us your contact details to [email protected] with 'Competition' in the subject line. We'll pick a winner at random next Thursday!
